SRYC’s 80th anniversary was celebrated in August, 2014 with a special dinner. Honored guests included Terry Smith, member since 1963, Harry Starac, member since 1953, and Edmund Thornton, member since 1953.

In the short video, Harry Starac talks about the World War II military boats that cruised the river in the 1940s. Some of these boats, including the LST, were built in Seneca.
