Haul out this fall is scheduled for Friday, October 14.
Start boat lifts: About 8-8:30am, depending on crane setup time
Soup potluck: When the boats are all set, around mid-afternoon
Fees, which include fall haul-out and spring launch, are $200 (for boats using the crane or trailer), plus $10/foot for winter storage. Fees for boats staying in the water are $10/foot, plus $100 if you use a bubbler. Haul-out fees must be paid in advance. Contact Jim Vaughn with any fee questions.
We’ll start the day with a breakfast for the workers and finish with a soup potluck meal in the afternoon when the work is done.
If there is any change in the schedule, you’ll be notified. If you don’t hear anything, there is no change.
Have your stands ready near where your boat will be stored. A chart will be provided showing you where that is.
If your boat is being launched, you or a representative must be there to pilot it from your slip to the crane. Know where your sling points are, and mark them with painter’s tape if there is any question. Have your dock lines and fenders at the ready. Charge your batteries, and check your drain plugs. Pump out your bilge before cruising over to the crane pickup point.
Please follow directions from members in charge. Safety is our number one priority. Dress for the weather, with sturdy shoes and gloves.
NO alcoholic drinks anywhere near the work area.
If you are not helping with the work, please stay out of the way, and keep cars clear of the crane area.
