The Travelift project is zooming right along. Steel was purchased and delivered, the site was excavated, I-beams were drilled and sunk in the ground. Concrete was poured on December 7, 2022 about 88 yards of concrete weighing approx 350,000 pounds! The sketch at the bottom shows the next phase of the project, where steel runways will extend out into deeper water.

One of our proudest days of the year, the Special People Cruise is a day when special needs folks from the surrounding area visit SRYC for food, games, and a boat ride. SRYC members, with help from neighboring boats clubs, provide the vessels and the manpower to make it all happen in a safe and fun environment.
