The latest plan from the Army Corps of Engineers removes Brandon Road from the list of locks scheduled to be closed in the summer of 2020.
Starting at Marseilles and heading south, the river locks will be shut down from July through late October. Dresden will see daytime closures most of the summer, allowing boaters some access from Lake Michigan down as far as Seneca.
This is the official word from the Army Corps, as of the last update in October, 2019.
